Upgrading or Changing Your Plan
Datadrew offers three plans — Free, AI Intelligence, and AI Ads CoPilot — each designed for a different stage of your business growth. You can move between Free and AI Intelligence at any time directly from the app. AI Ads CoPilot is in early access: it is not self-serve, so you request it and we onboard accounts one at a time.
How to Upgrade
Open Datadrew from your Shopify admin.
Go to Settings > Billing (or visit the Pricing page).
Select AI Intelligence (or switch between monthly and annual billing).
Review the features and pricing, then confirm.
Shopify will process the billing change through your existing Shopify payment method.
Requesting AI Ads CoPilot Early Access
Ads execution is rolling out account by account, so there is no checkout for AI Ads CoPilot. To request it:
Open the early access request form on the pricing page.
Tell us your store URL, monthly ad spend, who runs your ads and which channels you run. It takes about two minutes.
We review every account individually and reply within two business days.
Once onboarded, Drew starts proposing changes in Meta Ads and Google Ads, inside the approval workflows, budget guardrails and margin floors you set.
What Happens When You Upgrade
Immediate access: All features included in your new plan become available right away.
AI credits increase: Your monthly Drew AI credit allowance adjusts to the new plan's total — from 3,000 on AI Intelligence and from 7,500 on AI Ads CoPilot, scaling with your GMV band. (The Free plan's 1,000 welcome credits are a one-time grant, not a monthly allowance.)
Data history expands: If you move from Free (3 months of historical data) to AI Intelligence or AI Ads CoPilot (all-time history), your full data history becomes accessible once synced.
Prorated billing: Shopify handles prorated charges automatically. You only pay the difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.
Switching Between Monthly and Annual
You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. Annual plans offer a discount — you pay for 10 months and get 12 months of access. When switching from monthly to annual, the change takes effect immediately and Shopify handles the billing adjustment.
GMV-Based Pricing
Datadrew's AI Intelligence and AI Ads CoPilot pricing is based on your store's annual Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV). The app automatically calculates your GMV from the last 12 months of order data and determines your pricing tier. This means pricing scales fairly with your business size.
7-Day Free Trial
AI Intelligence includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial, you get full access to every AI Intelligence feature. You will not be charged until the trial period ends, and if you cancel before it is over you will not be billed. AI Ads CoPilot is early access rather than a trial — request access and we will qualify your account.
